At Neon Law, our team uses Apple devices including MacBook Airs and iPhones.
We agree with Apple’s stance that Privacy is a Fundamental Human Right. As a law firm, we want to ensure that we use security best practices like multi-factor authentication for all services, and using the Apple Passwords app to store all of our passwords which are long random characters that we do not memorize.
We do not care what you do in your private life, and for company-wide activities, we use a VPN and a forwarded email we set up through DNSimple. Once you lose access to both, you will not have access to real-time company updates. As part of our partnership and employee agreement, our team already agrees to never copy company data to personal devices except for that required by law (e.g. for ethics compliance).
With your Apple Devices and AppleID, Neon Law and our affiliated companies are just another application to your digital life managed by a trusted company with much better resources to do so than our firm.
When referencing books, we will use a books.apple.com
link, for instance in our On
Compensation page.
