Active Team Members Deserve Great Salaries

In No Rules Rules, Netflix, one of the most successful companies out there, boasts that if you want the best, you need to pay the best.

We have very few team members, but each team member deserves the best because they give the best. We provide every team member with a 300,000 USD personal expense budget (adjusted for inflation from 2025 onwards). If the person chooses salary with withholding and deduct normal business expenses that help them do their job such as gas, lunches, gym, and other valid business expenses.

By leaving the choice to the team member, we emphasize Netflix’s vision that No Rules are the Best Rules. By empowering every team member with a generous budget, they worry less about money and can dedicate themselves to our mission to do everything possible to advance access to justice.

Inactive Team Members Still Have Ownership Interests

Inactive team members, such as those of us that are on sabbatical, or have government or corporate jobs that prevent us from serving in an active capacity, are still equity holders of the firm. They are simply not involved in the day-to-day operations of the law firm nor participate in active-member compensation plans. On certain occasions, they may vote on key issues.

As a team, we provide inactive team members the perennial option of becoming active at their choice.
