Why We Build in the Open

At Neon Law and Neon Law Foundation, we build everything openly for private client and donor data. We do this for a few reasons:

Proof is Around Us

Earlier this year, we read an article from Aeron, which talked about the benefits of open development. We agree with the premise of the article, and the benefits they enumerate. One thing in particular to highlight is the sense of stewardship, or ensuring that our work will be long-lasting and useful to others. Like the authors, we don't want to create abandonware, we want to fulfill our mission of being a force multiplier for those interested in privacy and access to justice.
